Notes: Perennial herbaceous wildflower commonly found along stream margins and bottomland forests. It occurs natively in both the Mountains and the Piedmont of NC. It is attractive to a variety of native bees and birds will eat the seeds. Best used in a moist woodland garden as it can spread voraciously.
